Does the ILESTO garden box close tightly and what about the ventilation?

The ILESTO garden box does close tightly.  Ventilation slots are not necessary during regular use and opening of the cover.  In case of prolonged non-use, e.g. in the winter, upholstery and upholstered furniture inside the trunk should generally be wrapped in foil if they are not stored in a heated and ventilated environment.
