Mounting on Grass or Earth surfaces

ILESTO John-Boy, Johnny or John can be set up comfortably on your lawn without any foundation. The floor anchors provided ensure a firm stand. Please note that a different number of floor anchors must be used depending on the ground conditions. If you set up your garden shed on a level lawn – without gravel – and therefore on soft ground, more anchors are required.

Once the grass or soil surface is level, the ground frame is attached to the grass surface using the ground anchors supplied. The garden shed is then screwed to the floor frame.

If you place your garden shed on an uneven grass or earth surface, the uneven surface must be dug out to a depth of approx. 3 cm and then levelled with a 3 cm layer of gravel. Then fasten the floor frame as described in the first point on a flat surface.
